Court of Two Sisters BBQ Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb. Butter Softened
2 lbs. 16-20 (ct.) Head on Shrimp
2 tsp. Black Pepper
2 tsp. Creole Seasoning
1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
2 tsp. Salt
1 cup Beer
3 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 cup Green Onions, sliced thin
Directions:
- Melt one-quarter of the pound of butter in a large sauté pan on medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they start to turn pink.
- Add the black pepper, Creole seasoning, Italian seasoning, and salt and sauté for another two minutes.
- Add the beer, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
- Reduce the liquid by half and add three-quarters of the cup of green onions.
- Reduce heat to low and swirl in the remaining butter a little at a time until all is incorporated and the sauce looks creamy.
- Remove from heat and divide shrimp equally into four bowls, spoon remaining sauce over the top of the shrimp.
- Garnish with remaining green onions and serve with hot French bread.
