St. Mathew The Apostle Holiday Market

The market will feature crafts, clothing, pottery, jewelry, holiday décor, candles, prayer pockets, New Orleans creations, food, Stella and Dot merchandise, and much more! Door prizes will be given away, refreshments will be served and there will be live music by Vince Vance!

Music & Movie Night at Pontiff Playground

Come out for a family-friendly night of music with School of Rock followed by a showing of The Polar Express. Music begins at 5:30 pm and movie begins at 7 pm. Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to and they request that everyone wear a mask.

Artists Sunday Market in Rivertown

The City of Kenner has partnered with Arts Market of New Orleans and the New Orleans Arts Council to host two Artists Sunday Arts Markets in Rivertown. Browse art from many local artists. It will be an outdoor Arts Market all throughout the Rivertown area from 10 am-4 pm. This is a great place to do some holiday shopping!

Christmas in Lafreniere Park

Lafreniere Park's beautiful light display features LED lights with fantastic displays such as a lighted 60-foot sea serpent in the lagoon, a princess and her magical castle and the gingerbread man! New this year is an interactive Christmas tree exhibit constructed with more than 10 million LED lights!

Kenner Christmas Village

The Annual Christmas Village will light up Kenner this holiday season. Transformed into a festive holiday village with beautiful Christmas lights and animated scenery. Enjoy the Laser Holidays Light Show at Kenner Planetarium & Megadome Cinema on Saturdays.

Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts presents A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage

Le Petit Theatre presents A Nola Noel
Dec 17-19

Join Le Petit for a holiday extravaganza playing live on Le Petit's Touring Stage in Bucktown Marina. Featuring a cast of local favorites and a repertoire of the Crescent City's most beloved seasonal and holiday songs, A Nola Noël tells the story of Marcus, a young boy who finds himself turned around and lost in a strange new city full of unfamiliar customs. Trying to get home in time for Christmas, Marcus befriends a kindly stranger named Nick, who bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain North Pole resident. Nick takes Marcus on a musical journey through New Orleans, its many cultures and diverse influences, and, along the way, reveals to him the true meaning of home.
